How to have a contact and Archives Page in wordpress.com ?

If you have the Blix Theme as your current theme for your wordpress.com website, you can easily create a contact page and an archives page.

Steps for Contact Page

Update: April 24 2007.
WordPress.com supports contact form on any page you want, regardless of the theme you have in use.

Just go for create new page.
Give a title for the page, like ‘Contact’ , ‘Contact Me’ etc
on the right hand side, look for ‘Page Template’ .
Choose ‘Contact’ as your page template.
Just hit Save.

Steps for Archives Page

Just go for create new page.
Give a title for the page, like ‘Archives’ , ‘From the Past’ etc
on the right hand side, look for ‘Page Template’ .
Choose ‘Archives’ as your page template.
Just hit Save.

Remember, this one works only if you have the Blix theme as the current theme.

Hello,

I followed your instructions above, but I didn’t see the following:

on the right hand side, look for ‘Page Template’ .
Choose ‘Contact’ as your page template.
Just hit Save.

Is this for WordPress.”com”
