Crave 4 More – a new WordPress Theme

I have been working on this theme, named as ‘Crave 4 More‘ for more than 2 months.

Being a theme developer for my WP Themes.Info, I do get a lot of emails, when people try to customize the theme to fit their website.
I also keep an eye on the forum at wordpress.org for the kind of things people want in their theme to be customized.

After thinking through different expectations from the user’s point of view, I created this theme.

Once activated, this theme allows you to customize most of the theme’s functionality at the click of a button / click of a mouse., through the theme’s options page.

Blogger Import – Excellent

I tried the blogger import feature of wordpress (Go to ‘Import’ from the WordPress.com Admin).

It is quite sleek, and I was able to retrieve all my posts from http://weekly.alittleaway.com.
Those were posted sometime in August 2004.

Click on August 2004 on the sidebar, so you can take a look at those posts. All of them are very useful links.

Blogsome now Crediting the theme authors !

Blogsome was not putting the links to the theme author’s website, till recently.

Initially I was not happy with them removing the links to the original theme authors.
When I contacted them, they said they are giving the credits in their themes page, but they cannot keep the link at the footer.

I was not satisfied with the answer and I asked them to not use any of my themes thereafter.

I dont know what happened to them, but nowadays they are giving the credits to the theme authors on the footer.
Whatever may be the reason, they are on right track now.

Will you buy a wordpress theme ?

Thats a good question.

There are a lot of websites, that offer wordpress themes for free. Themes like K2, Regulus, Hemingway are all offered free.

Fauna is asking for donations, but I wonder how many people really donate before downloading the theme.

So I am asking you this.

What will make you pay for a wordpress theme ? Will You Pay 15 USD for my theme NigaRila or Pal Nila ? let us see.
